#12 Teddy Bear Heaven
I mean c'mon...Is there really anything better then teddy bears?
I was already excited about getting the
Italian Peltro pewter boy and girl figurines. And then I won the auction for a shelf filled with pewter pieces including some adorable Spoontique teddy bears.

Naturally I stopped what I was supposed to be doing and instead went running to my work
table and got busy!

I used Uroboros Cream Granite glass for the
scope along with decorative soldering. I loved the granite texture because it really did look
like the fur of a teddy bear.

I had recently acquired a pewter train and tracks. The tracks were perfect...
I used the warmth of my hands to slowly shape the railroad track to curve to the scope.
After adding all of the teddy bears I added the final piece...a lovely vintage silver
teddy bear necklace.

These are jewels that were originally used in jewelry
pieces like 'Jelly Belly' brooches decades ago.

Amazing bold colors in hyacinth, ruby, sapphire, aquamarine, topaz, jonquil, capri, rose, pale rose, emerald, peridot, olivine, fuchsia, amethyst and so many more!

Then, for the final touch, on each image wheel,  I add a Swarovski piece or two and a stray pearl
or other unique piece from last century...
