I had high hopes with this jewelryeidoscope...
I used the other half of the pewter Metzke napkin holder that was left over from #13 Secret Christmas, and surrounded it with animals of all
areas of the world.
But, after putting so much effort into
making it exactly as I wanted, I was completely disillusioned when I gazed thru the scope
at the front surface mirrored effect.
It was lifeless, dull.
The view was too long and the jewels simply
appeared too small and weren't symetrical...
And, the jeweled glass disk on top appeared to me to look like a helicopter take off was imminent.
The funny thing is, in my curio cabinet at my store,
this is the piece that repeatedly, everyone
said they loved...
This was the piece that made me begin to explore creating pieces outside the norm.
I began to wonder what would happen if I made the
scope smaller in length...
