Life itself, here on planet Earth, is literally resting upon our shoulders. The burden is great...
'We need to think outside the box' on everything...

In another life... I would have been an animal behaviorist,
so this piece was near and dear to my heart.
I took a tiny tree lampbase for the base of the jewelryeidoscope.
Next, I took previously made stained glass autumn leaves made with
Uroboros and Youghiogheny Tiffany art glasses. I kept playing with them
at different angles and then suddenly it seemed to work...
a 3D effort that created ledges, and possibilities.
I knew from the beginning that I wanted four scopes. One,
with a jeweled image disk and the others made, with varying lengths,
as marblescopes. I used a fabulous retired multi-colored
Uroboros Fibroid art glass for the scopes.
I made the 'For Rent' sign with Bullseye glasses & Glassline black paint and fired it. Then I began to place all of the little creatures. I was thrilled
when I won the JJ Wasp brooch because it was one of those pieces that I rarely saw listed. I also got a kick out of using an old Coro earring as a
bird's nest and then gluing a Swarovski Watermelon Rivoli jewel in the center as the 'bird egg'. I added a Metzke bird on the ledge sitting next to the nest.
One of the very last pieces I added was the vintage pewter pill box
with brooch and tiny bumblebee post earrings. It was so adorable
that I knew instantly that I couldn't wait to use it.
There was a perfect ledge for it by the 'For Rent' sign.
I had previously been having fun placing surprises on
past pieces and it was no different with this piece.
I chose a Mercury dime from 1938.
It says "In God We Trust".
Hmmm...remember that?
The final piece was from a cute as heck JJ Cat on a Swing.
It was a piece from an American company that was no longer in business and it was from a brand new Ebayer.
It seemed very fitting as the final touch.
