#33 Youghiogheny Yellow Butterfly Lampshade...
I used the following sellers items to make this lampshade:
Beautiful grn/lime butterfly pin: volatim
Vintage Silver Butterfly necklace: jnmhco
Vintage Enamel Flower screw-on earring, Pave rhinestone
Vintage Pink Rhinestone necklace &

After finishing the Kokomo Orange Butterfly lampshade I knew I had to do another one...I chose a gorgeous Youghiogheny glass this time in a soft, pale lemon yellow and cream mottle. I love yellow and I love Youghiogheny. A perfect match...
I love using colors that set each other off so I concentrated on bold colors like purple, red and green. I had a great time mixing it up with the butterfly jewelry. I used vintage 1960's enamel pins, rhinestone pins, clip-on earrings, wire earrings and even whole necklaces.
As usual, I tried to keep the integrity of the item being used. The pale pink butterfly clip-on earring at the edge of the lampshade still opens and closes. And, just above the green and yellow butterfly brooch, pictured to the right, is an old silver butterfly hair clip that was a gift from 'grandmagrabe' and it, too, still opens.
I'll try to get some pictures uploaded soon showing the lampshade lit. I'm not sure which lampshade is my favorite so far. I do know I'm just about finished with the Spectrum Lime Wispy lampshade...And, I've got Armstrong and Wissmach coming next in line!
