#3 Sleeping Fairy
I had recently discovered the seller 'jazzylavender'
and was totally in love with her items. One of the
items I bought was a lovely sleeping pewter fairy.
I used Uroboros Pink/White Streaky for the scope
and clear CBS Herringbone Ripple Dichroic
as the legs for the front of the scope...along with
a small pewter frog. I couldn't make the scope fast
enough, just so that I could add the sleeping fairy...
Next, I added the 'large pewter frog' to 'shoulder' the scope. At that time, I was still using the clear patterned
Dichroic glasses as the lens of the scopes. I used a beautifully patterned clear hearts Dichroic in beautiful, changing
shades of blue, violet and golds. The 'heart' pattern actually had a surprise, in that when you view the glass jewels,
two hearts line up and appear to become a butterfly!

The Jewelryeidoscope Idea...
This is the kaleidoscope that made me realize, like a lightbulb going off,
that the whole kaleidoscope
had been made with items I had bought on Ebay...
The possibilities and possible domino effect were instantly apparent.
Marketing my idea of using 20th century jewelry
and other objects and turning them into art had such huge potential.
It was exhilarating. I knew I had an good idea and I was instantly energized to see
what I could come up with...I coined the term 'Ebayeidoscope'...

Kind of a "What can YOU do with Ebay? This is what I did..."
After a lot of legal drama regarding the word 'Ebayeidoscope'
and finally, thankfully, personal help from 'Griff', Dean of Education
at Ebay, 'ebayeidoscope' became 'jewelryeidoscope'.
In the end, I decided that as a seller on Ebay, known as 'missourijewel', I should just stay that way.
Especially since I take my responsibility as a seller on Ebay so seriously.
