#40 Angels All Around Us...
Naturally, I knew from the beginning that I would be
making my Mom one of my jewelryeidoscopes and that
it would have an Angel theme.
I used a wonderful streaky Uroboros Tiffany art glass as the 'tower base' portion of the scope. Next I added a fantastic CBS Ripple Rainbow #2 Clear Dichroic glass for the top scope section. Perfect...
Then I began to add the Angels from last century. Using
lovely silver vintage Angels ranging from JJ St. Raphael & St. Gabriel, to JJ Angel 'Shooting Star', to JJ Angels playing wonderfully detailed musical instruments,
it was Angels everywhere...
I even added a piece from my own personal jewelry so that Mom's scope would have a 'touch of Nancy'.
If you look closely, just under the JJ angel with the shooting star, you can see an alexandrite silver ring. I soldered it to the tower and to the base of the scope. :)
...to comfort us in our need.
